Atsuko Kudo is a Japanese fashion designer based in London. She started producing latex womenswear in 2001. The brand now offers latex-only clothing, shoes, accessories and lingerie. 2009 saw the beginning of Kudo's work with Lady Gaga. Kudo's creations included looks for Gaga's now legendary Glastonbury performance and the infamous red latex Elizabethan gown and ruff, the ‘condom inspired’ outfit in support of AIDS awareness - designed in collaboration with Mugler. She also collaborated on Mugler Fall/Winter 2011 womenswear collection with Nicola Formichetti. Also in 2011, they did the first entirely latex runway show in New York.
