Cynthia Louise (née Bissett) Germanotta, married to Joseph Germanotta, is the mother of Stefani Germanotta and Natali Germanotta. She was born in Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia and grew up in the cities of McMechen and Glen Dale in Marshall County, West Virginia. She graduated from John Marshall High School in Glen Dale in 1972. She graduated from West Virginia University in 1976. She is the daughter of Paul Douglas Bissett and Veronica Rose "Ronnie" (nee Ferrie) Bissett, who were both born and raised in Benwood, Marshall County, West Virginia. They married in McMechen, Marshall County, West Virginia on January 2, 1950. Cynthia Louise "Cindy" Bissett Germanotta has two siblings - an older brother, Paul Douglas "Doug" Bissett, Jr., and a younger sister, Cheryl Ann "Sheri" Bissett Cates.
