Dean Quinn is a fashion designer from Enniskillen, Ireland. At 16 years old he spent a summer in London working as an intern for designer, Zandra Rhodes. Ms. Rhodes, who is famous for her flamingo-pink hair, asked him if he would be interested in attending Central Saint Martins. After he graduated, winning the award as women’s-wear designer of the year in 2009, he moved to Milan to work as a designer for Donatella Versace. But when it came time to establish his own line, he decided the best place for it would be in New York. He had already worked in the city, during his studies, with the design collective ThreeASFOUR.
