Although, she attended various events and launched her foundation with her mother, The Born This Way Foundation. By the end of April, Gaga debuted the Born This Way Ball which will run until 2013.

In January, Gaga wore long blonde wigs and black outfits, and not much occurred that month. She attended the 2011 International CES for a talk about the Polaroid Grey Label line. Gaga explained the three products.

February

Added by KERmonsterIn February, Gaga released her new single, "Born This Way", and the style of February revolved around the song and it's music video. Gaga wore prosthetic horns and ridges on her forehead, cheek bones, and shoulders for most of the month of February and wore long blonde wigs. Gaga's outfits in February had the theme of "birth" and she also debuted her "Born This Way Jacket".

In March, Gaga died her bangs black and began to sport a "Cruella de Vil" look. She would also mix black streaks and wear fake black bangs on some of her wigs. Gaga wore a lot of leather jackets in March and continued her "Born This Way" theme.
April

In April, Gaga continued with her "Cruella de Vil" wigs and when she debuted "Judas" she wore some golden blonde wigs. She also wore prosthetic points on her shoulders a couple of times this month.

May

In May, Gaga's outfits revolved around the theme of "Judas" and it's music video. Majority of her wigs this month were the black and blonde "Cruella de Vil" type wigs, but a few of her wigs were golden blonde. Along with these wigs, Gaga also wore a lot of hair extensions such as clip on bangs and fake ponytails, although these ponytails may be part of the wigs. Gaga wore a lot of Cross necklaces and outfits with The Cross on them, fitting with the biblical theme of "Judas". Gaga's outfits were quite gothic and consisted of leather, veils, and gothic hats. Her make-up was also very unique, it was heavy and black and she sometimes had squiggly lines beneath her eyes (Like from the Judas music video). Some people compared the make-up this month and from the Judas music video to the Eye of Horus.

June + July
In June and July, Gaga's style revolved around "The Edge of Glory" and "Hair". For those were the two songs she promoted the most these two months. A large majority of her wigs were teal. She wore her teal wigs in many styles (Bob, long and curly, fringe, etc). Gaga even wore a bald skin cap on a specific performance of "Hair". Her outfits in these months were mainly Versace and S&M inspired outifits. These two months marked the return of Gaga wearing vibrant and colorful outfits after several months of mainly black leather outifts.

In August, Gaga's style revolved around her song "You and I". Gaga wore long blonde wigs this month. Most of her wigs this month were long and curly but on a couple of occasions she wore a blond fringe wig for the first time since back in 2009. She wore one of these fringe wigs while making VMA promos. Gaga wore very conservative and toned down outfits compared to the past couple of month, and she wore a lot of "lady like" dresses. She also debuted her male alter ego, Jo Calderone this month. She wore mens clothes and tee shirts as Jo.

In September, Gaga's style continued on a toned down level except for on a few occasions. She wore long blonde wigs and dresses. On the iHeart Radio Music Festival she wore a lot of leather outfits.
October

In October, Gaga's style continued to revolve around "You and I". She wore blonde wigs for the most part, but for a couple of days in early October she wore mint green wigs. She wore her hair and wigs in buns a lot this month as well. Gaga wore various outfits. In early October, while in London, she wore mint green outfits and wigs. In mid October, while filming the "Marry the Night" video, Gaga wore outfits to veil her face and some very large and complex hats. In late October, while in India, Gaga toned herself down and wore a lot of dresses, in many colors.
November

In November, Gaga's style revolved around her song, "Marry the Night". She mainly wore long, pale blonde wigs that were quite plain and simple. She wore a lot of dresses in many different colors. The dresses she wore covered a whole spectrum of colors.She also wore some new innovative outfits such as the satellite type outfit on the EMA's, the severed head outfit on The X-Factor, and the zombie outfit on the Grammy Nomination Concert.
December

In December, Gaga's style was based on the "Marry the Night" music video. For example, several performances this month were based on the hospital scene in the video ( KISS FM Jingle Ball), and the ballet studio scene (The Ellen DeGeneres Show). Gaga continued to wear the long blonde pale wigs, but she also wore some blonde fringe wigs, and some bleach blonde wigs with a ponytail and clip on bangs. While in Japan, Gaga wore a lot of gothic style outfits, and black clothes. On New Years, Gaga wore shiny, metallic and complex outfits.
2012

On the first trimester of 2012, Gaga took a break from touring and promotional performances. During that time, she planned and launched of the Born This Way Foundation and rehearsed for The Born This Way Ball Tour. The tour began on April 27 of 2012 in South Korea.

Lady Gaga's father opened his restaurant Joanne Trattoria on February first. On February 4, Lady Gaga attended the Young Women's Conference. She also went to the premiere of "Decoding Deepak" (a film by Gotham Chopra) on February 10. On February 29, Lady Gaga went to Harvard Univerity to launch the Born This Way Foundation with her mother and Deepak Choprah among others.
