Odradek was a Japanese designer brand founded by Demian Celica Kanou. She was born in Kyoto in 1980. After she left for New Zealand at the age of 14, she moved to the UK, and studied fashion and textile at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication. While at school, she gained experience at French licensed brands such as Camilla Staerk, Hussein Chalayan, and Kenzo. After working as a men's designer at the English brand, Reem, she launched ODRADEK in 2008.
