Nick Knight OBE (born 1958) is a British fashion photographer, documentary photographer, and web publisher—as director of SHOWstudio.com. Nick Knight and Gaga began working together in the fall of 2009 after working with Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2010 "Plato's Atlantis" with Ruth Hogben. They collaborated frequently from the fall of 2009 until 2011 and on select projects since then.

After the cancellation of the Fame Kills Tour, Gaga needed to put together a new tour in a short amount of time. In order to do it, she called Nick Knight for help:
- "I just called Nick. We were struggling to put the tour together so quickly and we wanted to do something very video driven and very interactive and I thought if I am going to do a video based show I need someone who can create videos and visuals who is really a genius. So I just called Nick and said “I’m in trouble. I need to phone God to help me get all this done in time. So naturally I called God, I called Nick Knight.” He started laughing. He just said, “oh thank you very much that’s very nice of you.” In that incredibly polite way he has. I said I wanted him to really push me, to go beyond my limits in terms of what I had done so far. In terms of marrying performance art, music and fashion and visuals. So naturally he wanted me to puke on myself and eat a bovine heart and do all sorts of other things."
The SHOWstudio team along with the Haus of Gaga shot the interludes and backdrops that would be used on the theater version and later, the arena version of the tour.

A revision of the Monster Ball tour occurred after 22 shows, due to Gaga's concern that the original version was constructed within a very short span of time. The Haus contacted the same key people who worked on the Theater Version in order to make a new version. The SHOWstudio team did a new edit for each interludes and backdrops and created new one using footage shot the previous fall. They also created brand new props such as they "Eternal Fountain" a replica of the Bethesda Foutain found in New York City's Central Park. The team was comprised of SHOWstudio's crew with the help of 3D animators Kevin Stenning (Rapido3D) and BURSTvisual.

As part of the same shoot for the stage visuals of the Monster Ball in 2009, a 3D scan of Gaga wearing a wig by Peter Savic along with heels by Alexander McQueen was made. She was captured and rendered along with a white Yamaha piano by Kev Stenning at Rapido3D. Burst TV London did some 3D work using the data and CNC machined out of polystyrene a 25 foot tall statue. A double piano dress statue was also made allegedly for the tour but was never used. These two companies worked under the supervision of Nick Knight.
On October 4, 2011, SHOWstudio revealed(1) a moving 3D Lady Gaga constellation (diamond dust), created by Daniel Brown from the 2009 footage. It was originally created in openGL for the iPad to be part of the main menu of a shelved digital project.
The solo statue was reprinted on a smaller (4”) scale in gold by Nick's assistant, Tom in 2020 for SHOWstudio x Harrods Future of Fashion project. That version was put on dislay for a limited time at Harrods in London.
One of the archived 3D renderings of that statue was used as a backdrop during "Poker Face" at The Chromatica Ball in 2022.

Fashion film contains behind the scene footage from Born This Way album promo photoshoot by Nick Knight and some scenes from "Born This Way" music video.
Former Haus Member Tara Savelo shared via Twitter some details about the leak of this video. She denied that this footage is an alternative version of "Born This Way" music video, because that one was directed by LaurieAnn Gibson (that confirms the existing of alternative video). This footage is from Lady Gaga's Born This Way cover photoshoot by Nick Knight mixed with music video outtakes ("extra scene from the original"). Tara Savelo said about the leak that "[Lady Gaga] obviously didn’t approve it and doesn’t want it released," because "when someone is on set being photographed they are under the impression that it is private and any nudity captured can be edited around." She added, "whoever released this did so without her [Lady Gaga's] approval."
According to PropaGaga, verified user on Gaga Daily, "This is a video remix by AVIDDIVA aka Dustin Robertson, who works with Nick Knight. It was accidentally made public on his Vimeo a few years ago and some lucky fans were able to snatch it before it was quickly taken down. It's made up of footage from the scrapped street kid edit of "Born This Way" and "Government Hooker" videos and was never intended to be released publicly like this."
