David Samuel Menkes

David Samuel Menkes is a New York based leatherwear designer from Morristown, New Jersey. He studied Costume and Scenic Design at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. He founded David Samuel Menkes Custom Leatherwear in 1980.

The Rifle Barrel bra

The piece consists of two Rifle Barrels attached to a simple black bra using long springs. Due to its weight, the bra is strapped to Gaga's chest with several straps instead of the usual two. A modified version of this bra with added ammunition cartridges was used for the Rolling Stones cover page, and to everyone's surprise, Menkes revealed that the new version can shoot bullets out of the rifles.
