The Winter Music Conference is a weeklong electronic dance music event, held every March since the mid-1980s in South Florida. It is aimed at professionals such as artists, DJs, record label representatives (A&R), producers, promoters, radio and the media.

Lady Gaga's first Miami performance was at The Raleigh for Armani Exchange Music Lounge during the 2008 Winter Music Conference. She was with her first DJ, DJ VH1 and two female dancers (Sheryl Murakami and Kathryn Berenson).
