Lever Couture is a German fashion house founded by Ukrainian designer Lessja Verlingieri in 2010. She was born in Ukraine and lived there before moving to Germany at the age of 11. Verlingieri now resides in Los Angeles.
Following her first runway collection in 2011, Gaga was one of her first clients through Nicola Formichetti to ask for custom outfits.
