Macy's, founded by Rowland Hussey Macy & Co in October 28, 1858, is a mid-range chain of department stores owned by American corporation Macy's, Inc. It is one of two divisions owned by the company, with the other being Bloomingdale's. As of January 2014, the Macy's division operates 789 department store locations in the continental United States, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Guam, including the prominent Herald Square flagship location in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.

"Fame" Launch[]

"Love Bravery" Collection[]

In April 2016, Lady Gaga and Elton John announced that they've created a charity collection of merchandise for Macy's. The line includes clothes, keyrings, backpacks, bags, clutches, shawls, badges, water bottles and a limited-edition skateboard. 25% of the money made from purchases go to the Born This Way Foundation which will donate 50% of them to Elton John's AIDS Foundation. The collection is now available on Macy's website and is going to hit stores starting May 9.
