OAK is a NYC-based cutting edge retailer offering men's and women's designer clothing, shoes and accessories. The company was founded in the mid-2000s by Louis Terline and Jeff Madalena. OAK was bought by American Apparel in early 2013. In early 2016, following the first of American Apparel’s two bankruptcies, Louis Terline and Jeff Madalena bought back OAK.
