Mario Testino (born 30 October 1954 in Lima) is a Peruvian fashion photographer. He first met Lady Gaga for their first shoot on June 22, 2009, for V magazine. They have since worked together on a photoshoot that has been featured in magazines such as Vogue and Vanity Fair. In 2011, he used a photograph of Gaga taken in 2009 as the poster and cover for his exhibition Mario Testino: Private View and the book counterpart respectively.

Mario Testino: Private View[]
"Mario Testino: Private View" was an exhibition of 100 photographs held at Today Art Museum (Beijing, China) from June 7 to June 27 of 2011. For both the exhibition and the book, the poster and the book cover use the same photograph of Gaga and is the only one of her featured.
Photographs from the exhibit was included a 256 (300) pages book published by Taschen. The book include Chinese and English texts. Two editions were released: a regular one with a lenticular cover photo of Gaga and a limited edition with an injection-molded plastic box with the lenticular cover photo of Gaga with 1,500 copies signed and they were also numbered. The regular edition are available in pink, green or purple.
