Lee is a denim clothing brand founded in Salina, Kansas (United States) in 1889. The current owner is VF Corporation. Henry David Lee founded the H. D. Lee Mercantile Company in Kansas in 1889. In 1911, they made the first Lee overalls with denim clothing fabric.
