Marc Jacobs Beauty[]

Marc Jacobs Beauty was a makeup line by Kendo under a licensing agreement with Marc Jacobs that launched in 2013. The agreement expired in late 2021 and the line was discontinued. Sarah Tanno-Stewart was a Global Artistry Ambassador for the brand in 2016 until 2021.

In a way I did get to meet Marc through Gaga. We first met at a Marc Jacobs Beauty launch event in NY for Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara [on January 19, 2016].I heard that Marc said he was a huge fan of the makeup I created for Gaga’s role as The Countess in American Horror Story: Hotel. He wanted to know who did the makeup and invited me to New York to attend the launch. Since that moment, I knew I wanted to be part of anything and everything the brand was doing.

—Sarah Tanno to Vanity Fair in 2017
