Filmed February 29 and March 1, Lady Gaga and her mother, Cynthia Germanotta recorded this Interview inside the three-leven New York City apartment she grew up in. Gaga gives Oprah a tour and shows her the baby grand piano her parents gave her on her 13th birthday. Plus, she shares never-before-seen home videos of herself as a girl. Cynthia also opens up about Gaga's early years and provative start in the music business.

Gaga speaks about her greatest fears and unique creative process, why she shuts herself off from the media, television and music news while working on an album. Plus, she tells Oprah that she won't be giving any interviews for a very long time. “Other than this interview, Oprah, I do not intend to speak to anyone for a very long time,” she said. “This is my moment for me to experience a rebirth of my own music. I have to shut it all out. The noise, it’s loud. You have to cancel out the noise and remember that it’s your thoughts that matter.” She also tells Oprah she's happy, more creative than ever, and, to quote country star Shania Twain, feels like a woman.

Lady Gaga wears a jacket and a pencil skirt by John Galliano, pump platforms by Brian Atwood and sunglasses by Quay.
