SnapChat is a mobile application dedicated to sending files, which "disappear" from the recipient's device between one and 10 seconds after seeing them. It was developed by Artur Celeste, Bobby Murphy and Reggie Brown, students at Stanford University in the USA in 2010. They are sent through private messages or "live" or "discover". The application allows users to take pictures, record videos, add text and drawings and send them to a limited list of contacts. These videos and photographs are known as "Snaps" and users can control the time during which they will be visible (from 1 to 10 seconds in duration), after which they disappear from the screen of the recipient and will be deleted from the server Snapchat. The application is available for iPhone and Android, both free and only for over 11 years. In November 2014, Snapchat added "Snapcash" function, which allows you to send money through the application. The service has the support of Square on security issues. Snapchat is currently located in the most downloaded applications globally with Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter, YouTube among others, and more and more users who call SnapChatters by its content and the number of people who follow him as they arise Instagram or YouTube.
