The performance was recorded on September 10, 2009, and aired on October 14. This performance was completely acoustic where Lady Gaga performed "Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)" and "Poker Face", along with showing off her piano skills with a little bit of "Ragtime". She even added a French flair, by reworking the second chorus of "Poker Face" and singing it completely in French. She was extremely candid during this television appearance.

The performance was aired live on June 28, 2011. After starting her set with “Born This Way,” Gaga discussed her album, Born This Way, with the show’s host and then returned to the stage to sing stripped-down versions of “Hair” in which she sung an extra verse in French and proceeded to “The Edge of Glory”.
