The Cherrytree Sessions is the first official live EP from Lady Gaga. "The Cherrytree Sessions" are special performances by the artists of the Cherrytree Records label, inside the Cherrytree House.[1][2] During the performance, Gaga performed the songs on the track-list of the EP, as well as "Brown Eyes", and had an interview with Martin Kierszenbaum[3]. Gaga performed a beatbox rendition of "Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)", with help from Vincent Herbert, Troy Carter, and Space Cowboy. It was the first, and only time this version has been performed.

ReleaseEdit

Starting January 31, the EP was available for streaming on Gaga's official MySpace page. It was released digitally on February 3, 2009 onto iTunes. The EP was scheduled to have a physical release exclusively at Borders on March 3, 2009, but was moved up to February 24. The EP was released with a limited print which sold out, with a later re-release of the EP available from August 3, 2010. Outside of the United States, the EP only got a digital release. The EP was released on November 29, 2009 in Australia. Not all the songs on the EP were available for download in every country. In France, only the rendition of Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) was available. Another official release of the EP comes from a deluxe edition of The Fame released in Germany on June 26, 2009. The EP later got a wide distribution in the US on August 3, 2010 with The Remix. The EP was also included in The Singles on a disc with "Christmas Tree".
