"Wonderful" is the first song Lady Gaga, Rob Fusari (Team Love Child), and Tom Kafafian wrote together! It was written in 2006. The song was number two on the iWebRadio's Top 10 Most Requested Songs in July of 2006. The song was added to Gaga's PureVolume page, and currently remains there as one of two songs under an album titled, Retro-Sexual, the other song being "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich".[1] The song was included in a demo she made in 2007 for Interscope before being signed. Other songs in the demo included "Kandy Life" and demo versions of "Brown Eyes", "Disco Heaven", and "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich". The song "Brown Eyes" is referred to in the line "I wrote a song about your eyes".
On December 28, 2009, Gaga was asked at a Meet & Greet for The Monster Ball Tour in Atlanta, whether she had plans of releasing the song. She responded by saying that she had considered giving the song to Adam Lambert for his debut album, but eventually decided against it, giving "Fever" instead.

On Wonderful, Gaga displays her remarkable vocalic ability to switch between Fiona Apple-like crooning and an edgier chorus. For all the haters who think retro-rock is for the boys, Lady Gaga proves that chicks can wear their 80s influences on their sleeves, rock the mic and look sexy at the same time. The song was released in the Cary Nokey's EP (aka. Rob Fusari) Journal 8

If I fell in love with you
Would you understand me, dear?
Love is weird

I colored you a valentine
Struggled just to stay inside the lines
I lose my mind

I really can't believe
I lost myself again

Looking for something crazy
Beautiful nothing
Now I'm talking in circles again
Let my love, baby
Are you hungry for wonderful? 'Cause I am
Wonderful, 'cause I am

I wrote a song about your eyes
Ate a slice of cherry pie
I cried all night
On the bench inside the park
I'll kiss you slowly in the dark
I'll never stop

I really can't believe
I lost myself again

Looking for something crazy
Beautiful nothing
Now I'm talking in circles again
Let my love, baby
Are you hungry for wonderful? 'Cause I am
Wonderful, 'cause I am

Baby take me for a ride
Maybe get a little high
In a place we've never been
Time is nothing but a line
We leave everything behind
It'd be so wonderful, wonderful

Looking for something crazy (Looking for something crazy)
Beautiful nothing (Beautiful nothing)
Now I'm talking in circles again (Now I'm talking in circles again)
Let my love, baby
Are you hungry for wonderful? 'Cause I am
Wonderful, 'cause I am

(Looking for something crazy)
Wonderful I am (Beautiful nothing)
I am, I am (Now I'm talking in circles again)
It's killin' me, boy, yeah
I am, I am
But you'll know how wonderful I am
Wonderful I am
Wonderful I
